Breeders Cup Odds for The 25th Edition of the World Championship thoroughbred Racing Classic 2008 Breeders Cup odds racing will take place at Santa Anita Park in California. The 2008 Breeders Cup odds will be available on Friday, Oct. 24, and Saturday, Oct. 25th.
This will be the first Breeders’ Cup to be conducted over two days. Friday’s program will debut three new $1 million Breeders’ Cup races. The Championships will conclude on Saturday with eight Breeders Cup races.
Breeders Cup Classic Betting 2008 The Biggest race on the card is the Breeders Cup classic and is a race for three year old and up fillies, mares, colts, and geldings. The Breeders Cup classic is run on the dirt track at one and one quarter mile.

Most divisional champions crowned since 1984 have participated in a Breeders' Cup race. In addition to the Classic,

three and up; the Sprint, the Mile, and the Turf. The latter three are open to horses of both sexes, as is the Classic.

Curlin pulled away in the final furlong to win powerfully.
Curlin, a 3-year-old colt who began his career in February, reached the pinnacle of American racing less than nine months later with a stylish 4 1/2-length win in the $4,580,000 Breeders’ Cup Classic - Powered by Dodge (gr. I) at Monmouth Park Oct. 27. rbpalace (1:18:01 PM):
Curlin, ridden by Robby Albarado, just missed the track record for 10 furlongs, getting the distance on a sloppy track in 2:00.59. The time was less than one tick off the Monmouth mark set by Carry Back (listed as 2:00.40) in 1962. A gutsy Hard Spun, who took the lead into the stretch but could not match strides in the lane, hung tough for second while Awesome Gem came on late for thirdover favored Street Sense.
Curlin paid $10.80, $5,20, and $4.20 while Hard Spun paid $7.60 and $5.80. Awesome Gem, a 28-1 shot, returned $9.40 for the show. The exacta paid $70.80, while the $1 trifecta paid $645.30.
