It began 30 some odd years ago with a little rubber ball, a Super Ball that Kansas City Chief president Lamar Hunt saw his children playing with. Inspired by the ball's liveliness, he changed a couple letters and proposed a new name for the championship game between what was then the American Football League and the National Football League.
